The busyness of life can bring many distractions, anxieties and troubles to the soul. With so much going on, we can lose sight of what is really important and life can begin to "live us." In Luke 10:38-42, the Lord gives us His solution for such times. He directs us to "The Good Portion" of life. For the people of God, whether sitting or serving, He is our priority. He is our good portion. Once we understand this priority, then by grace we can learn to properly respond to life and arrange our lives and have some relief of unnecessary anxieties and troubles.
