Psalm 119 (Knowing-Delighting-Transforming): The Word of God

October 29, 2017 Speaker: Justin Schroeder Series: Psalm 119 {Knowing-Delighting-Transforming}

Topic: Christian Living Passage: 2 Peter 1:19–1:21, Jeremiah 15:16, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Psalm 119

In a day when new is better, truth is relative, and experience is the ultimate reality, the once-delivered, fully-revealed, and absolutely-authoritative Word of God is often neglected in the pursuit of "something better." Yet, there is no foundation more sure and no rock more firm than the Sacred Scriptures. For in it and by it, we know God! Not only do we know God, but we know through Scriptures how to be reconciled to God and how to live for His glory. He has given to us "all that we need for life and godliness" in His Word! Let us journey through Psalm 119 with the pursuit of knowing Him, delighting in Him, and transforming in His image Through His glorious Word!

1.Knowing God through the Word | 2 Peter 1:19-21.

2.Delighting in God through the Word | Jeremiah 15:16.

3.Transforming into the image of Jesus through the Word | 2 Corinthians 3:18.

Challenge:
*Read Psalm 119 each week & beg God to do Psalm 119:18.
*Memorize 1 verse from each section a week.
*Dont miss gathering on Sundays.
